Special Education
Special education; These are 40-minute training sessions with one-on-one expert professional personnel in special classes where the necessary physical conditions are created in order to support individuals with special needs in all development areas.
While planning individual trainings, evaluations of our students in all areas of development are taken with experts in the field. As a result of the evaluations, short-term and long-term goals are determined for the needs of the child. The educational programs created as a result of the evaluation are followed by the unit coordinators and applied by expert educators.
Why Special Education at Anka
Special education in Anka is not based on standards-based, classical and non-individual plans. Anka plans the special education process in accordance with the needs of her student, prioritizing interaction, communication and play.
In addition to special education applications, Anka offers complementary applications that will support the child in all developmental areas. Just as no work at Anka is limited to a specific field, no academic skill learned at Anka is limited to just the desk. Family and other educators can reach the necessary information and transfer to generalize every skill that the child learns.
Anka is transparent in its special education activities, as it is in all its activities. The family accompanies the lessons, can achieve the goals studied in the lessons and updated every month. Home programs updated with updated targets are sent to the family every month and the family is supported to continue working.
Anka works with the coordinator system and each coordinator holds meetings with the students at regular intervals. In this way, information about every student receiving special education at Anka reaches every unit coordinator and educator.
With a common language, common approach and goals that support each other, each of our students can take greater steps towards independence.
